Shropshire Fountains
Using a number of suppliers, we also construct larger, renovate and clean fountains for domestic gardens, country houses, nursing homes and hotels.
The smaller fountains are sometimes available in single precast sections but normally due to the size and weight of these structures, they are constructed in individual pieces. This ensures they are a lot easier to transport and handle. Even then a mini-digger or tractor is often required to lift the fountain sections into place.
These fountains often need a sump to be be dug to increase the water volume as the depth of the fountain surround itself is not normally sufficiently deep for most applications.
We then line the interior of the fountain surround with 4" brick to add strength to the structure. This is then rendered with a waterproof plaster mix.
Once the structures are fully waterproofed, the pumps, pipes and all the electrics required are installed by a fully qualified electrician.
